An ADA Class Action suit was filed against Wendy's International, Inc. (WII), back in the 90's for violation of the American's with Disabilities Act of 1990, and WII lost that detailed suit and allegations that they constructively discriminated against those with disabilities by excluding them from services that were available to the general public.
In conclusion of that complaint, the Department of Justice (DOJ) mediated the matter and entered into a settlement agreement with WII (November 1998).
